Was ist das KidsCamp?
Das KidsCamp ist ein 5-tägiges Ferienlager für Kinder im Alter von 8-12 Jahren und entstammt einer Zusammenarbeit von Rotary und Rotaract (aus den Distrikten 1980/1990/2000).
Unterstützt wird das Projekt zusätzlich vom Urlaubskinderverein, durch Schulungen, erfahrenen Helfern vor Ort, Bereitstellung der Lagerinfrastruktur, einheitlichen Regelung der Finanzen und Versicherung.

Was bieten wir?
Die Teilnahme am Rotaract KidsCamp ist für das Kind vollkommen kostenlos! Die Teilnahmegebühren werden vollständig von dem im Einladungsschreiben erwähnten Rotary Club übernommen.
Dafür bekommt das Kind 5 Tage lang Verpflegung, Unterkunft, Betreuung und natürlich viel Spiel, Spaß und Freude. Selbstverständlich kümmern wir uns auch um die An- und Abreise.
Wir bieten den Kindern und Jugendlichen ein abwechslungsreiches Programm wie Geländespiele, Nachtwanderungen, Basteln und sportliche Aktivitäten.
Ablauf
Die Kinder werden in Gruppenzelten direkt neben dem Lagerhaus übernachten und auf Feldbetten in Schlafsäcken schlafen.
Mehrere Betreuer befinden sich immer in der Nähe und sind jederzeit 24/7 für die Kinder ansprechbar. Während jeder Nacht wird eine Nachtwache neben den Zelten von uns organisiert.
In unserem Organisationskommittee (OK) Team befinden sich neben ausgebildeten Ersthelfern auch eine Ärztin, somit sind wir für alle kleinen „Notfälle“ perfekt vorbereitet.
Anreise/Abreise
Die Anreise und Abreise nach Saanen wird je nach Situation der Kinder vom OK-Team oder von dem jeweiligen Rotary-Verein organisiert.

What is the KidsCamp?
The KidsCamp is a 5-day summer camp for children ages 8-12 and a cooperation of Rotary and Rotaract Clubs (from the districts 1980/1990/2000). The project is additionally supported by the „Urlaubskinderverein“, through various trainings, experienced helpers on site, provision of camp infrastructure, uniform regulation of finances and insurance.

What do we offer you?
Participation in the Rotaract KidsCamp is completely free for your child! The participation fees are completely covered by the Rotary Club mentioned in the invitation letter. We will provide your child with food, accommodation, supervision and, of course, lots of fun and games for 5 days. Of course we also take care of the arrival and departure. We offer the children and young people a varied program such as cross-country games, night hikes, handicrafts and sports activities.
Course of events
The children will spend the night in group tents right next to the camp house and sleep in their sleeping bags. Several counselors will always be close by and available 24/7 for the children. During each night a night watch is organized by us next to the tents. In our organisational committee („OK“) team there are trained first aiders as well as a doctor, so we are perfectly prepared for all small „emergencies“.
Arrival/Departure
The arrival and departure to Saanen will be organized by the OK team or by the respective Rotary club, depending on the situation of the children.
